Before becoming a full-time writer, Maria Murnane spent 10 years running business and consumer technology accounts for Silicon Valley PR agencies, most recently as a senior account director at Bite Communications. One day she quit her job and ended up in Argentina for a year, where she played semi-pro soccer and wrote an award-winning novel, "Perfect on Paper."
Now back in the United States, Maria applies her understanding of PR to create professional, engaging and relevant content that is useful to the communications efforts of any organization.
Maria was a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar at UC Berkeley, where she graduated with high honors in English and Spanish. She also received a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
